Valecraft Homes Take Cancer Care to Heart

Valecraft Homes, known for their community involvement, furthered their continued support of local cancer care this summer.

As a long-time supporter of the Cancer Foundation, Valecraft sent a team to see how their generous contributions improve the lives of individuals and their loved ones affected by cancer in Ottawa.

A dozen employees from Valecraft Homes visited the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s Maplesoft Centre to learn more about our innovative Cancer Coaching program. The first of its kind in the country, the donor-supported Coaching program has received more than 7,500 client visits since its inception.

Valecraft staff members had the opportunity to learn about the impact of the Cancer Coaching program firsthand as they heard from Mélina Ladouceur, a Cancer Coach, and listened to a powerful testimonial from one of our clients, François Montour. Their visit ended with a tour of the Cancer Foundation’s Maplesoft Centre.

The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is extremely grateful to Valecraft Homes. Their drive to effect change at the community level is evident through their continued involvement with the Cancer Foundation.
