Legacy Giving

Every legacy beings with a personal story.

A legacy gift to The Ottawa Cancer Foundation is a powerful way to ensure compassionate support is available for future generations impacted by cancer. By leaving a gift in your will, you create a lasting impact that reflects your values and provides hope, comfort, and connection for those facing cancer, today and in the years to come.

Bequests

Including us in your will provides essential long-term funding, ensuring sustainability and growth for our programs, and before allowing us to plan for the future with confidence.

Whether it’s a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or residual assets, your generosity will create a lasting legacy for people in our community.

Life Insurance

Donating a life insurance policy can be a powerful way to support us. You can either name us as a beneficiary or transfer ownership of an existing policy. It’s a gift that costs nothing in your lifetime, while potentially providing significant benefits for your estate.

RRSPs, RRIFs, and Pensions

Designate us as a beneficiary of your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF), or pension plan. By doing so, you can ensure that your funds continue to make a difference after your lifetime while potentially minimizing taxes for your estate.
