Once again this September, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is holding a special information session on estate planning entitled I Have a Will: Ensuring my wishes for family and charity.
If you are planning to update your will soon or considering the benefits of including a charitable gift in your will or other estate plans, this session will provide you with valuable information.
Our guest presenter is Elizabeth Lockhart. She is a well-known and highly respected barrister, solicitor and mediator who practices exclusively in estate law.
The Cancer Foundation is offering this session in partnership with seven local charities including The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre Foundation, National Arts Centre Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, Hospice Care Ottawa, the Ottawa Food Bank, the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa Charitable Foundation and the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region.
The session will take place on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM at The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre. It’s free and includes complimentary on-site parking and a light lunch. Please note, this session is offered in English. We encourage you to register early, as seating is limited.
