Get sweaty while fundraising for cancer care!

Fundraising for cancer care is a great reason to get moving – and if you’re already into fitness, it’s a major added bonus. We’ve got you covered!

Take Marty Laforest and Nadia Lavalee for example, who every other year take a week’s vacation from work to run – yes, RUN – from Kingston to Ottawa to raise funds for The Ottawa Cancer Foundation. They call it the K-O Run, and they run the equivalent of one marathon every day for five days to cover the entire distance.

That’s 5 full marathons in a row to show their commitment to improving local cancer care!

But you don’t have to sweat quite THAT much to make an impact. You can start your own fitness fundraising event, or join existing sporting events listed on our upcoming events calendar. You can also take part in a challenge event (like Ottawa Race Weekend and Spartan Race) and create a fundraising page in support of The Ottawa Cancer Foundation.
