Reiki

Reiki is an individual practice of energy focus. This energy (Reiki) enhances life at all levels. It can be used personally, on family, friends, plants and animals for greater health and well-being, as well for pain relief, deep relaxation, reducing stress and the acceleration of the body’s natural healing processes.

Reiki helps create a state of deep relaxation, which triggers the Para-Sympathetic Nervous System, and awakens the body’s internal ability to heal itself by restoring balance on all levels. The Para-Sympathetic Nervous System nurtures and nourishes. This one system is responsible for the rejuvenation and regeneration of cell life in the entire body.

For some it is spiritual; for others it is physical; for many it is both. Reiki restores balance and harmony, while increasing physical strength and vitality. It brings clarity of mind and purpose.

Please note: We are currently unable to offer in-person Reiki due to the COVID 19 pandemic, so our Reiki volunteers will now be providing our clients with Distance Reiki. Although most people associate Reiki with touch, this form of Reiki can be done with the practitioner in one location and the recipient in another. With the trained practitioner’s intention and directing of thoughts and energy to that person, Distance Reiki can offer all the same benefits, including increasing feelings of relaxation, happiness, empowerment, and ease, with the client receiving the energy where it is needed most in their body, mind, and emotions.
