This tribute fund has been established in honour of Misha Normand Garcia:
a son, a grandchild, a brother, a volunteer, and a friend.
Misha has inspired countless people around him through his optimism, good compassion for others, humour, and intelligence. On September 18, 2009, at the age of 19, the Cancer he had fought so hard and for so long finally claimed his life. To respect and recognize his many accomplishments in the face of a crippling disease, and in order to maintain his legacy of optimism, good humour, and intelligence, Mom and Meenakshie are honoured to establish The Misha Normand Garcia Tribute Fund at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation in support of cancer research and treatment.
