The Jim Millar Memorial Fund

This fund was established in loving memory of Jim Millar.

Being actively involved in many philanthropic causes over the years, Jim was keenly aware of the direct impact donations have on the lives of those in his community.  He was especially proud of his involvement with the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, helping to raise thousands of dollars for cancer care and research in the Ottawa area.

Jim was a remarkable and relentless volunteer and had been involved with the Cancer Foundation for the past 16+ years.  He served on the Board of Directors from 2004-2011, and was also a key member of the Courage Campaign team which raised more than $50 million for cancer care and research in our community.

All gifts made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation in Jim’s memory will support local families facing cancer.
