JACOB & JOSHUA
Jacob and Joshua are brothers, and their mum, Wendy, was diagnosed with cancer. It was tough for them to see their mum go through treatment.
But Jacob and Joshua went to the Cancer Foundation’s CLIMB program.
CLIMB stands for Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery, and thanks to our donors, it is there for kids who have a parent with cancer.
They learned that cancer is not a disease that is caught like the flu. They learned that it’s okay to express your feelings and it’s okay to cry.
Now Jacob gives his mum a kiss whenever she doesn’t feel well.
Learning how to express themselves has made the whole family better able to cope with cancer.
