Founded in 2008, Fight for the Cure (FFTC) is Ottawa’s signature white collar boxing gala, that brings together the Ottawa community in the fight against cancer.
Since its inception, FFTC has raised millions of dollars in support of The Ottawa Cancer Foundation (TOCF). All proceeds from Fight for the Cure support TOCF’s unique supportive cancer care programs and services that enrich the lives of people living with and impacted by cancer in our community.
FFTC features six thrilling fights, with twelve Ottawa-based business leaders who dedicate eight months to intense training and fundraising efforts leading up to the event. These fighters exemplify courage, resilience, and determination as they step into the ring, showcasing their commitment to fight for the cure.
