  • Provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere to all guests
  • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and offer information about available resources
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain a neat and organized front desk area

  • In-person position – Mondays from 11:30-3:30 and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 8:45am – 12:15pm

Director, Philanthropy Services

The Director, Philanthropy Services plays a key contributing role to the achievement of The Ottawa Cancer Foundation’s revenue goals in securing major and leadership gifts for the Foundation and contributes to the cohesion and program implementation in liaising with the Senior Vice-President, Philanthropy, Senior Manager, Annual Giving and mentoring and supervising the Administrators for Donor Services and Donor and Data Management. The Director, Philanthropy Services will also work alongside and collaborate with the Director, Special Events and Community Engagement.

Administrator, Donor Information and Data Management

The Donor Database Administrator is responsible for the integrity, management, and optimization of the organization’s donor database. This includes maintaining accurate donor information, managing prospect data, overseeing moves management processes, and ensuring smooth and effective utilization of the database across the Philanthropy and Events and Community Engagement teams. The position ensures data is organized, accessible, and analyzed to maximize fundraising efforts and improve donor engagement.

Administrator, Donor Services

The Administrator, Donor Services plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s fundraising and donor stewardship efforts. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of gift processing, donor relations, endowment reporting, and being the first point of contact for inbound donor calls and emails. The Administrator will ensure the timely and accurate processing of donations, maintain effective communication with donors, and support the ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with the Foundation’s philanthropic community. This individual will also serve as the primary resource for donors calling with inquiries or needing assistance, ensuring that every interaction reflects the organization’s commitment to exceptional service and donor care. The Administrator will also work with the Events and Community Engagement team and works to lend essential support as required.
