OSCOP at a glance:
The Ottawa Supportive Cancer Care Community of Practice (OSCC-CoP), or “OSCOP,” brings together health and social care providers from across the region to enhance community-based cancer supports.
Through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation, OSCOP provides participants with the tools and resources to improve care for individuals living with cancer, their families, and caregivers.
Bi-monthly virtual meetings and workshops foster learning and collaboration, ensuring supportive cancer care is accessible and impactful across the city.
Goals:
- Engage in meaningful knowledge exchange
- Learn from peers about effective approaches to supportive cancer care, valuing the strengths and assets in the community
- Shape the future of supportive cancer care in Ottawa through collaborative discussions
